Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By joining the n8n Clouds Affiliate Program ("the Program"), you ("the Affiliate") agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms & Conditions ("Affiliate Terms"). These Affiliate Terms are supplemental to, and should be read together with, the n8n Clouds Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not participate in the Program.

We reserve the right to modify these Affiliate Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued participation in the Program after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Eligibility

To join the Affiliate Program, you must:

• Be a registered user on n8n Clouds with an active account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Have a valid bank account in Bangladesh for withdrawal purposes

Each user may hold one (1) affiliate account only. Duplicate affiliate accounts are not permitted and will be rejected.

We reserve the right to approve or reject affiliate applications at our sole discretion.

3. Affiliate Account

3.1 Account Creation

Upon joining the Program, you will receive:

• A unique affiliate referral code (e.g., CH-A6J5K4)
• A paired promo code that provides a discount to referred customers
• An affiliate dashboard showing referrals, conversions, commissions, and balance

Your affiliate account may exist in one of the following statuses:

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your affiliate account and for all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

4. Referral Code & Tracking

4.1 Referral Code

• Each affiliate is assigned a unique code in the format [Prefix]-[Alphanumeric] (e.g., CH-A6J5K4).
• Code format: 3–50 characters, uppercase letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores only (^[A-Z0-9_\-]+$).
• Your code serves as both your affiliate identifier and a discount promo code for referred customers.

4.2 Attribution Model

n8n Clouds uses a promo code-based attribution model. There are no tracking links or cookies involved.

• You share your referral code with potential customers.
• The customer enters your code at checkout as a promo code.
• The purchase is attributed to your affiliate account through the code redemption.

4.3 Code Customization

• You may request a custom referral code change once every 30 days.
• Code changes must comply with the format requirements (3–50 characters, ^[A-Z0-9_\-]+$).
• Code uniqueness is verified across all affiliate and promo code records.

4.4 Discount Configuration

The default discount offered to customers using your referral code is 50%. This rate may be adjusted by n8n Clouds administration at any time. The discount applies to eligible purchases as configured by the platform.

5. Commission Structure

5.1 Commission Rate

The default commission rate is 10% of the discount amount (not the total purchase amount).

Commission is calculated as: Commission = Discount Amount × Commission Rate / 100

5.2 Commission Eligibility

A commission is earned when all of the following conditions are met:

1. A customer applies your referral code at checkout.
2. The invoice is activated (payment confirmed).
3. You are not the purchaser (self-referrals are strictly prohibited — see Section 9.1).
4. The customer's selected package duration matches your affiliate's duration configuration (if configured).

5.3 No Commission on Self-Purchases

You cannot earn commissions on purchases made using your own affiliate code from your own account. Self-referral transactions are automatically detected and blocked.

5.4 Referral vs. Conversion Tracking

• Total Referrals: Incremented when a new unique customer makes a first-time purchase using your code.
• Total Conversions: Incremented when a commission is approved (either manually by an admin or automatically after the hold period).

5.5 Rate Adjustments

n8n Clouds reserves the right to adjust commission rates and discount rates at any time with notice to the affiliate. Adjustments may be made within the following limits:

6. Commission Approval & Hold Period

6.1 30-Day Hold Period

All earned commissions are placed in an "On Hold" status for 30 days from the date of the qualifying purchase. This hold period serves as a refund protection window.

• During the hold period, the commission amount is not added to your withdrawable balance.
• If the referred customer's purchase is refunded or cancelled within 30 days, the commission will be cancelled.
• After 30 days, commissions are automatically approved and added to your available balance.

6.2 Manual Approval

n8n Clouds administrators may approve or cancel commissions at any time during or after the hold period at their sole discretion.

6.4 Cancellation of Approved Commissions

If a commission that was previously approved is subsequently cancelled (e.g., due to a refund or policy violation), the commission amount will be deducted from your affiliate balance. If your balance is insufficient, it may result in a negative balance.

7. Withdrawals & Payouts

7.1 Bank Information

Before requesting a withdrawal, you must provide valid bank account details through the affiliate dashboard:

• Bank Name
• Branch Name
• Account Number
• Account Holder Name
• Routing Number (if applicable)
• SWIFT Code (if applicable)

Bank details are snapshotted at the time of each withdrawal request and stored with the withdrawal record.

7.2 Minimum Withdrawal Amount

The minimum withdrawal amount is 500 BDT (five hundred Bangladeshi Taka). This threshold is configurable by n8n Clouds administration.

7.3 Withdrawal Request Process

1. Submit a withdrawal request from your affiliate dashboard.
2. Your available balance is immediately deducted upon submission (funds are locked).
3. The request enters a "Pending" status for admin review.
4. Upon approval, the request moves to "Approved" status.
5. After the payout is processed, the request is marked as "Completed".

7.4 Withdrawal Status Lifecycle

7.5 Processing Time

Approved withdrawals are processed within 7–14 business days. Actual processing time may vary depending on your bank or financial institution.

8. Affiliate Obligations

8.1 Compliance

• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Affiliate Terms.
• Act in good faith and in the best interests of n8n Clouds.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and bank information.

8.2 Promotion Guidelines

• Promote n8n Clouds honestly and transparently.
• Make only truthful claims about the service.
• Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting (e.g., "I earn a commission if you sign up using my code").
• Do not misrepresent pricing, features, or promotions.

8.3 Brand Usage

• Use n8n Clouds branding only in a manner approved by the company.
• Do not alter or misuse n8n Clouds logos, trademarks, or brand assets.
• Do not register domains or social media accounts that impersonate or closely resemble n8n Clouds.

9. Prohibited Activities

9.2 Fraudulent Activity

• Creating fake accounts to generate referrals
• Using bots, scripts, or automated methods to generate fake usage or referrals
• Manipulating or attempting to manipulate the referral tracking system
• Colluding with other users to generate fraudulent referrals

9.3 Spam & Unsolicited Communications

• Sending unsolicited bulk emails, messages, or social media posts promoting your code
• Using spam, phishing, or deceptive marketing practices
• All promotional communications must comply with applicable anti-spam laws

9.4 Misleading Advertising & Search Restrictions

• Making false or misleading claims about n8n Clouds
• Advertising false discounts, promotions, or artificial urgency
• Bidding on "n8n Clouds", "n8nclouds", or similar branded keywords in paid search campaigns
• Offering unauthorized cash back, rewards, or other incentives to customers for using your code
• Exploiting bugs, loopholes, or unintended behavior in the affiliate system

10. Account Suspension & Termination

10.1 Suspension by n8n Clouds

We reserve the right to suspend your affiliate account at any time if you violate any provision of these terms, engage in suspicious or fraudulent activities, or violate applicable regulations. During suspension:

• No new referral commissions will be earned.
• Withdrawal requests will be frozen.
• Existing unpaid commissions may be withheld pending investigation.

10.2 Termination

By the Affiliate: You may close your affiliate account at any time by contacting support. Pending commissions that have passed the 30-day hold period will be paid out, subject to the minimum withdrawal threshold.

By n8n Clouds: We may terminate your affiliate account for cause. Upon termination for cause, pending and unpaid commissions may be forfeited, your code deactivated, and withdrawal requests rejected.

11. Intellectual Property

n8n Clouds grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use n8n Clouds brand assets (logos, trademarks, marketing materials) solely for promoting n8n Clouds in accordance with these Affiliate Terms.

You may not modify brand assets, imply unauthorized endorsement, or register confusingly similar trademarks or domains. You retain ownership of original content you create to promote n8n Clouds.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Affiliate Program is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the affiliate system or any minimum level of earnings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, n8n Clouds and its parent company Bikiran shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. In no event shall our liability exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless n8n Clouds, Bikiran, and their officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your promotional activities or violations of these terms.

13. Modification of Terms

n8n Clouds reserves the right to modify these Affiliate Terms, commission rates, payout thresholds, and hold periods at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect.

Your continued participation in the Program after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Affiliate Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any legal proceeding arising out of or related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to first contact our support team at support@n8nclouds.com and allow at least 30 days for good-faith informal negotiations.
